Anyways... I'd like to expess my surprise, last night I was checking my gallery to scrap some pics so,obviously I went directly to my first ones. I never imagined I could impove that much in just a year! I've been here for a little bit more than that and it's awesome! and I bet a lot of people think that way too (I mean about themselves), I know there's stil a LONG way to go,  and I still have a ton of things to learn but it's really cool to know that you've actually improved a little bit. Of course I really take into account every comment, fav and watch I get, so really thank you for the support!



On the other hand I still can't draw properly, but I'm working on that.

SPRING + The dog would have died anyway

Yay for spring!!!
I'm so so so glad it's spring already!!! is not like the winter is going to dissapear right away, but at least I'm happy to know that it's spring and see all the little kids with their bunny costumes.
Do you like spring?, do you prefer any other season?
Anyways... to a lot of people, this week was spring break, but to me was 'Semana Santa' (Holy Week) which means... vacation!!! and of course, time to think about God and Jesus.
I took advantage of this situation to go to Gregory Colbert's Nomadic Museum... and WOW... OH MY GOD! it was completely awesome! Every second I spent inside the museum was worth the wait on the outside. I was completely amazed by the moments he captured. I (obviously) bought the whole set of postcards :D


However, I'm very sad to share this 'news'.
There's this 'artist' named Guillermo Vargas, who presented his 'art' exhibition in Managua, Nicaragua. One of his works was a dog -a living dog- tied to a white wall with a very short rope, this dog wasn't fed or freed during the whole exposition. There was also the sign 'Eres lo que lees' written with food right in front of the dog (it wasn't able to reach the food because of the rope)
Obviously , the dog died since it was sick. 'the dog would have died anyways', Vargas said before explaining that "The purpose of the work was not to cause any type of infliction on the poor, innocent creature, but rather to illustrate a point. In my home city of San Jose, Costa Rica, tens of thousands of stray dogs starve and die of illness each year in the streets and no one pays them a second thought."
WHAT THE FUCK?!?!?!
Excuse me, but let any being die in the name of art is not art. There is no excuse for this shit.

Okies, so I haven't changed my journal since.... Chirstmas, I think...
it's time for a new one... lol...
What comes next (Valentine's mood on) is one of my favourites songs... there are like 3 or 4 versions of it, but the one that I like the most is from The Ramones...

I see trees of green,red roses too.

Hi there again!
I hope your holidays were awesome!
So... my birthday was last week and I got a new camera from my parents, it's a Canon Rebel and I'm still learning a lot of things about it, but it certainly makes me more comfortable and confident about my picutres since I can actually notice a huge improvement :D

I would appreciate if instead of adding a comment in my front page saying... thanks for that fav/add, you could take the time to check one of my pictures and write what you think about it. I added you or faved your work because I liked it and it inspires me. therefore it'd be awesome if you could give me some feedback.
